Refund & Pickup Policy

Payment timing

Full payment is taken at checkout. There is no deposit option.

Cancel before the cutoff

You can cancel any order until 24 hours before its pickup day opens. Cancelling from your account refunds the full amount through Stripe. Refunds usually appear on your statement within 5 to 10 business days.

After the cutoff

Once the cutoff passes, production is locked in and you can no longer cancel from your account. If something urgent comes up, email orders@blackcatbakingcompany.com and we will do what we can.

Missed pickups

If you do not pick up your order during its scheduled hours, we cannot offer a refund. The order was made and set aside for you. If you know ahead of time that you cannot make it, let us know and we will try to work something out.

Quality issues

If something is wrong with your order, such as a missing item or a quality problem, contact us within 24 hours of pickup. We will make it right with a refund or a credit toward your next order.

How refunds are issued

All refunds go through Stripe to your original payment method. We cannot refund to a different card or to cash.
